Adam Hadwin and Derek Fathauer Qualify for posteason play
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former University of Louisville men's golf standouts Derek Fathauer and Adam Hadwin have each qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs. Â
During the PGA TOUR Season, TOUR members earn points based on their results, with a strong emphasis placed on winning and high finishes. Once the PGA TOUR season concludes, the top-125 players advance to the FedExCup Playoffs, a series of four, $8-million tournaments, offering quadruple points relative to PGA TOUR season events.
Hadwin, an All-American, finished 84th in the FedEx Cup standings after posting two top-10 finishes and six in the top 25. Appearing in 25 events on tour, Hadwin made 18 cuts last year, posting a season-high sixth-place finish at the Career Builder Challenge.
