Senior leaves the program as the career leader in stroke average.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's golfer Robin Sciot-Siegrist has been named as a PING Honorable Mention All-America, which was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Thursday.
An honorable mention All-American last season, Sciot-Siegrist had a sensational senior season for the Cardinals, nabbing eight top-10 finishes and four in the top five this season on his way to earning all-ACC accolades. Sciot-Siegrist became only the fourth player in ACC history to win consecutive leage titles when he shot a 10-under par at the ACC Championships in London, N.C.
During the fall season, Sciot-Siegrist finished second at the Bank of Tennessee tournament and was third in the ACC-SEC Challenge. He continued his success in the spring by finishing second at Clemson and guided the Cardinals to their third appearance in the NCAA Championships by placing 10th at the NCAA Stillwater Regional.
Sciot-Siegrist led the team with a school-best 71.65 stroke average per round and closed his career by finishing as the career stroke average leader. The senior from France was selected to the European Palmer Cup team, which begins Friday at the Formby Golf Club in Formby, England.
