Senior earns honor for the second-straight season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville senior Robin Sciot-Siegrist was one of 12 student-athletes named to the 2015-16 All-ACC Men's Golf Team on Thursday in an announcement by the league office.
It's the second-straight selection for Sciot-Siegrist, who leads the Cardinals into NCAA Regional action next Monday in Stillwater, Okla. The No. 47 ranked player in the country earned honors last season -- the Cardinals' first-year in the ACC.
The Rueil-Malmaison, France , native has a team-leading scoring average of 71.33 in 33 rounds this season, putting him on pace for the school record for the best single-season stroke average in school history. He became only the fourth player in league history to win back-to-back ACC Championships when he shot a 10-under par 206 to earn medalist honors. He also tied for first last season by shooting an 11-under par.
Sciot-Siegrist has produced four top-five finishes this season, placing in the top 10 at a total of seven tournaments, and has shot at par or better in 23 of his 33 rounds this season.
Louisville was selected as the No. 10 seed at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, set for May 16-18 at Karsten Creek Golf Club. A top-five finish in Stillwater would send Louisville to the NCAA Championships for the third time in school history.
Live scoring for NCAA Regional competition will be available via golfstatresults.com. For the third year, Golf Channel will air more than 100 hours of coverage of both the men's and women's NCAA Championships.
