Robin Sciot-Siegrist remains in top five
Salem, S.C.—University of Louisville senior Robin Sciot-Siegrist fired a 2-under par 70 to lead the Cardinals at Clemson Invitational Saturday.
The Cardinals are in third place entering Sunday's final round of action, just three shots behind Georgia Tech for second place. Clemson continues to lead way with 13-shot lead over the Cardinals.
The Cards shot a solid 294 on a day when wind gusts reached 20 mph on a regular basis forcing most of the team scores upward. The average score on Saturday for the 66 players in the field was a four-over-par 76.
Sciot-Siegrist is tied for second place after shooting 69-70=139 after the first two rounds, just two shots off the lead with 18 holes to play.
J.D. Lehman is tied for seventh overall after his round of 71 on Saturday, while Keegan de Lange is tied for 16th place after carding a 76 during second-round action.
Simon Zach is tied for 29th and Erik Dulik is tied for 54th heading into Sunday.
The final round will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday with teams going off at the No. 1 and No. 10 holes.
