
Rowing Rises to No. 15 in Coaches Poll

Cardinals receive highest ranking in program history; second among five ACC programs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville rowing team moved up five spots to No. 15 in this week's USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I poll, the highest ranking in school history.
This week's ranking is one position higher than the Cardinals' previous high water mark of No. 16. Louisville is the second highest ranked program among five Atlantic Coast Conference schools in this week's poll. No. 4 Virginia paces the way for the conference and is followed by the 15th-ranked Cardinals, Syracuse and Notre Dame tied at No. 16 and No. 20 Duke.
Last week, Louisville earned five wins at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational as well as 10 runner-up finishes against ranked competition during the two-day event. Four of the Cardinals' race wins in Oak Ridge included victories over Notre Dame.
Up next, No. 15 Louisville will compete at the ACC/Big Ten Double Dual on April 2 in Bloomington, Ind.
