Reeves and Wash give Louisville a sweep of the ACC outdoor field honors this week

Â
Sophomore high-jumper Javen Reeves was recognized as the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week, while junior long jumper Bre'Yana Wash earned Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week honors.
Â
Reeves won the long jump at the USF Bulls Invitational to kick off the outdoor season. The New Albany, Indiana, native finished with a new personal best mark of 2.20m (7-2.50), just shy of Tone Belt's Louisville school record of 2.23m (7-3.75). His mark currently ranks as the top mark in the nation and was his second career win in the outdoor high jump.Â
Â
Wash continued her momentum from the indoor season into the outdoor season with a win in the long jump at the USF Bulls Invitational, setting a new meet record. Wash won the event with a new personal best mark of 6.30m (20-8), just shy of Charachesicia Lockhart's school record of 6.34m/20-9.75. The Dallas native's mark currently ranks as the top mark in the nation and earned her a fifth career outdoor long jump win.Â
