
De Lange Posts Top 20 Finish at Linger Longer

De Lange shoots even par to lead the Cardinals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Keegan de Lange shot an even par 216 to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team  at  the 2016 Linger Longer Invitational in Greensboro, N.C. As a team, the Cardinals finished in seventh place overall firing 871 for the three-day event.
De Lange, who was coming off a career-best finish, tied for 16th place overall after shooting 69-76-71=216 and finished just nine shots off the tournament lead. Lee McCoy of Georgia took home medalist honors with his score of 207. Alabama claimed the championship by four strokes over No. 3 Georgia and No. 47 Augusta State, who tied for second overall with both teams carding a 9-under par 855 for the tournament. Â The Cardinals finished at 7-over par for the tournament despite firing 286 on Tuesday.
Robin Sciot-Siegrist tied for 23rd overall after firing a 2-over par 218. He carded 71-74-73 for the three-day event to tie with J.D. Lehman, who also fired 74-69-75=218. Erik Dulik tied for 46th place overall after he shot 75-77-72=224 and Simon Zach finished in a tie for 56th place after shooting 80-77-70=227. He shot a 2-under par 70 on Tuesday.
The Cardinals will compete at the Clemson Invitational on April 1-4.
