Sciot-Siegrist Posts Top-10 Finish as Cards Finish Seventh

Senior shoots 2-over par for the tournament
PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - Robin Sciot-Siegrist of the University iof Louisville men's golf team shot 2-over par to finish in a tie for eighth-place at the John Hayt Invitational at the Sawgrass Invitational on Sunday.
As a team, the Cardinals finished in seventh place after carding rounds of 301-299-291=891, which was 33 shots behind Oklahoma State, who won with a three-round total of 300-281-277=858. North Florida was second (867) and Jacksonville was third (881).Â
Sciot-Siegrist shot 74-73-71=218, 11 shots behind medalist Brendon Jelley of Oklahoma State. Sciot-Siegrist had his best round on Sunday, shooting a 1-under par 71.
In only his second tournament, Keegan de Lange posted his best finish as he tied for 19th with his rounds of 74-74-73=221. J.D. Lehman and Simon Zach tied for 40th-place overall with rounds totaling 227. Lehman fired 74-78-75=227, while Zach carded rounds of 79-76-72=227. Hugo Espositio tied for 67th after shooting 79-76-78=233.
The Cardinals return to action at the Seminole Intercollegiate on March 11-13 in Tallahassee, Fla.
