
Sauer Named to Honorable Mention All Region Team

Sophomore libero earns postseason honor
University of Louisville libero, Molly Sauer, was named to the AVCA Honorable Mention All-Region team as announced by the AVCAÂ Tuesday.
Sauer, the 2015 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, reached her 1,000th dig this season, the fastest Cardinal to do so in school history. Â In 2016, she led the team in digs with 492. She had 84 assists and 21 aces for the Cardinals.Â
The Louisville native also won ACC Freshman of the Year in 2015 and was named to the ACC's Second Team in 2016, along with teammate Tess Clark.Â
