Louisville will host two outdoor meets in April
On Tuesday, head coach Dale Cowper announced the track and field team's 2016-17 indoor and outdoor schedules, highlighted by two home meets in Cardinal Park.Â
Â
"With the conclusion of the cross country season last weekend I'm excited to announce our schedule for the upcoming indoor and outdoor seasons," said Cowper. "We were able to put together a quality schedule that will allow every student in our program to grow competitively while missing minimal class time throughout the spring semester. Our squads are looking forward to getting the season started at Vanderbilt in a little under two weeks."Â
Â
Louisville begins the indoor portion of its schedule at the Vanderbilt Open on Dec. 3. Last season the Cardinals opened up the season with six wins at Vanderbilt. Cardinals will get another tune up before the Christmas break at the Hoosier Invite on Dec. 9.
