Louisville-William & Mary Postgame Notes

SERIES
•   In the first matchup between the two teams since 1952, Louisville improved to 3-0 all-time against William & Mary.
•   The Cardinals moved to 2-0 at home in the series against the Tribe.

TEAM
•   Louisville extended its home winning streak in the month of November to 40 consecutive games, which spans 25 seasons and includes a 27-0 record in the KFC Yum! Center.
•   UofL improved to 101-14 all-time at the KFC Yum! Center, now in its seventh season as the home of the Cardinals.
•   The Cardinals have won 48 of their last 49 non-conference games at the KFC Yum! Center
•   Louisville outscored William & Mary 16-0 during a span of 4:56 across the final 1:58 of the first half and the first 2:58 of the second half. The Cardinals increased a 34-31 lead to a 50-31 advantage during the span.
•   After finishing with 10 blocked shots in Friday's season-opener, the Cardinals had 11 blocked shots on Monday marking the first time they have registered back-to-back games with 10 or more blocks since the 2010-11 season when they had 11 swats against Marshall (Nov. 27, 2010) and 10 blocked shots against FIU (Dec. 1, 2010).
•   Louisville finished had 10 steals for the second straight game marking the first time since with 10 or more steals in back-to-back games since finishing with 11 versus Clemson on Jan. 7, 2015 and 10 at North Carolina on Jan. 10.
•   Monday marked the first time Louisville has finished with 20 or more assists and fewer than 10 turnovers in the same game since March 14, 2014 when they had 22 assists and just six turnovers against Houston.
•   Monday's game also marked the first time Louisville has reached double-figures in both blocked shots and steals in the same game since Dec. 23, 2014 when they had 11 swats and 14 steals against Cal State Northridge.
•   The 21 assists for Louisville was their highest total since finishing with 21 against Syracuse on Feb. 17, 2016.
•   The 72 shots from the field for UofL against William & Mary were the most since attempting 75 shots against North Florida on Nov. 21, 2015.
•   The Cardinals were 10-for-28 on three-pointers in Monday's game – the most attempted three-pointers since finishing with 29 tries against Ohio State on Dec. 2, 2014 and the most made three-pointers since connecting for 12 against Virginia Tech on Jan. 27, 2016.
•   After finishing with 52 rebounds in Friday's season-opener, the Cardinals had 49 in Monday's win over the Tribe marking the most total rebounds in back-to-back games since finishing with 104 total rebounds against North Florida (53) on Nov. 21, 2015 and St. Francis Brooklyn (51) on Nov. 24, 2015.
•   Louisville improved to 170-9 over the last 16 seasons under head coach Rick Pitino when scoring 80 or more points.
•   UofL improved to 315-47 when holding an opponent below 70 points in its 16 seasons under Pitino.

PLAYER
•   Sophomore Deng Adel finished with a career-high 16 points in Monday's win. The nine attempts from the field matched a career-high for Adel first set against Virginia on Jan. 30, 2016.
•   Adel finished with a career-best five assists on Monday, one better than his previous high of four against Boston College on Feb. 6, 2016.
•   Adel also added a career-high four steals against the Tribe doubling his previous high of two set against Boston College on Feb. 6, 2016.
•   In just his second game, freshman V.J. King registered his first double-figure scoring performance finishing with a game-high 17 points.
•   Junior Quentin Snider registered his 21st career double-figure scoring game finishing with 13 points while matching a career-high with four made three-pointers equaling the total accomplished twice last season.
•   Junior Jaylen Johnson delivered his second straight double-figure scoring night finishing with 13 points on Monday.
•   Sophomore Ray Spalding had 10 points on Monday for his sixth career double-figure scoring game.
•   The game-high 10 rebounds on Monday for senior Mangok Mathiang were the most for him since finishing with a career-best 13 rebounds against Saint Louis on Nov. 28, 2015.
•   The five blocked shots for Mathiang equaled a career-high set on Feb. 14, 2015 against NC State.
•   Sophomore Donovan Mitchell had a career-best four blocked shots, one more than he had during his entire freshman season.
