
Hadwin Posts Career-Best Finish at Career Builder Event

Former Cardinal finishes in a tie for sixth place at PGA Tour Event
LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Former University of Louisville men's golfer Adam Hadwin of Abbotsford, B.C., finished tied for sixth at the CareerBuilder Challenge on Sunday in La Quinta, Calif.
The former All-American, who began the final round in third place, shot an even-par 72 in the final round, but came in at 20-under for the tournament, along with two others, and finished just five shots back of the leaders, who entered a playoff tied at 25 strokes below par.
Hadwin fired a pair of rounds of 66 on the first two days before concluding with a 64 and 72 to finish with a final score of 268.
Jason Dufner won the event with a par on the second hole of the playoff, taking advantage of David Lingmerth's shot off the rocks that bounced into the water.
Kevin Na and Andrew Loupe also shot 68 to finish alongside Mickelson.
