
Sciot-Siegrist in Sixth at ACC-SEC Challenge

Senior shoots 3-under par after two rounds
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Robin Sciot-Siegrist fired a 3-under par and sits sixth after 36 holes at the DICK's Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup. As a team, the Cardinals are in 12th place after two rounds of action.
Sciot-Siegrist birdied No. 4, No. 9, No.11 and No. 15 en route to a 70 in the first round, and registered five birdies to shot a 2-under par 69 during second round action. He was hurt by a double bogey on No. 14. Sciot-Siegrist is five shots behind leader Robby Shelton of Alabama, who shot a 134.
Patrick Frodigh also had a solid day for the Cardinals, finishing with a two round total of 2-over par 144 (72-72) on the par 71, 7,184-yard Golf Club of Tennessee course. He enters the final round in a tie for 24th overall.
Simon Zach in 43rd position at 11-over 153 (76-77), followed by J.D. Lehman, who also shot 153 (79-74). Hugo Esposito is tied for 60th after shooting 157 (79-80).
Virginia leads the 12-team field after carding a 7-under par 561 on the day. Vanderbilt, ranked No. 13 in the nation, is second with a 567, while No. 15 Duke (568), No. 2 Florida State (569) and No. 12 Georgia (572) rounds out the top five.
The DICK's Sporting Good Collegiate Cup is one of the only events of its kind in the country. Following Saturday's final round of stroke play, the event turns to match play on Sunday and pits the ACC vs. the SEC in a battle between the two of the top conferences in collegiate golf.
