Softball Fall Schedule Finalized

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville softball coach Sandy Pearsall has announced that the 2015-16 Fall Schedule has been finalized. The Cardinals will play six games over two weekends at Ulmer Stadium. Admission is free.
Louisville will open the fall season with a double header against Bellarmine on Sept. 27 at 12 p.m. The Cards return to action the following weekend when they play host to Lake Land Community College, Walters State, Campbellsville and Bellarmine in a tournament. Louisville will face Lake land and Walters State in back-to-back games at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. respectively on Oct. 3 and will take on Campbellsville and Bellarmine at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 4.
The Cardinals finished the 2015 season with a 30-19 overall record after making their 12th consecutive NCAA regional appearance. Louisville returns 13 letterwinners and six starters from last year's squad including seniors Morgan Hart, Hailey Smith, Brittany Sims and All-ACC first team selection junior Maryssa Becker.
