Sciot-Siegrist Advances to Quarterfinals at Bristish Amateur

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville junior men's golfer Robin Sciot-Siegrist continued his impressive form in the 120th Amateur Championship at Carnoustie today with a convincing 3&2 victory over Argentina's Alesandro Tosti to reach the quarterfinals.
Sciot-Siegrist, a former ACC champion and an NCAA individual qualifier, has won three matches to advance to reach the final eight.
Coming off his disappointing rounds at the NCAA Tournament in early June, Sciot-Siegrist has responded with an opportunity to win one of the most prestigious amateur tournaments and earn a spot in next year's Master's Tournament at Augusta.
Sciot-Siegrist will face Romain Langasque of France on Friday at 9 a.m.
