
Sciot-Siegrist Earns All-America Accolades

LOUISVILLE, Ky - Junior Robin Sciot-Siegrist of the University of Louisville men's golf team was selected as an honorable mention All-American by Golfweek.com.
Enjoying one of the top seasons in school history, Sciot-Siegrist has earned numerous honors during his third year in the program. He became the first UofL golfer to advance to the NCAA Championships as an individual when he won a playoff at the Lubbock NCAA Regional.
Sciot-Siegrist extended his season by defeating K.K. Limbhaust of California at the Lubbock Regional on May 16. After 54 holes, the two individuals were tied to see who would advance, and Sciot-Siegrist won that battle with a par on the 18th hole.
A native of Rueil-Malmaison, France, Sciot-Siegrist shot 71-67-70=208, the school's top mark during a regional. He finished in a tie for fourth overall, which was also the best finish in school history.
Playing in his first ACC Championship, Sciot-Siegrist was a co-champion when he finished 11-under par, coupled with his league ranking earned him all-ACC honors. He was also a PING All-Region honoree.
Playing in 11 events this year, Sciot-Siegrist posted a school record 70.76 stroke average, besting the previous school mark of 72.07 set by Derek Fathauer.
