
Cards Open Spring at John Hayt Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
On Friday, the the University of Louisville men's golf team will tee off at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational, which is hosted by the University of North Florida and played at Sawgrass Country Club (par 72, 6,976 yards) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
The three-day, 54-hole event boasts one of the most competitive fields in the country. The field features seven schools ranked in the top 50, including back-to-back national champion No. 12-ranked Alabama.
Head Coach Mark Crabtree will start Robin Sciot-Siegrist, JD Lehman, Max Walz, Robbie Geibel and Gus Lundquist. The Cardinals head back to Ponte Vedra to begin their spring season after a successful fall campaign. The team will be led by Robin Sciot-Siegrist, who led the Cardinals in the fall with a 71.25 stroke average. He fired a 13-under par at the Warrior Princeville Invitational last fall.
LeSaux played evem par during the fall, and is poised to have a great spring. He shot a 9-under par at the Warrior Princeville Invitational. The format will consist of five-man teams, with the best four scores counting toward the daily total.
