• Louisville improved to 3-0 all-time against UMKC with all three games coming at KFC Yum! Center.
• The Cardinals are now 9-1 all-time against current members of the Western Athletic Conference, including a 111-63 win over Grand Canyon earlier this season.
TEAM
• Tuesday's game completed the opening day of the 14th annual Billy Minardi Classic, a two-day, four-game event also featuring UNC Wilmington and Utah Valley.
• The Cardinals improved to 17-1 all-time in the Billy Minardi Classic.
• Louisville has held a halftime lead in each of its 11 games this season, including a 38-22 margin on Tuesday.

PLAYER
• Graduate student Trey Lewis led the Cardinals in scoring for just the second time this season with his game-high 17 points.
• Lewis has reached double figures in scoring in seven straight games and nine times overall this season.
• Lewis equaled a season high connecting for a trio of three-pointers for the fourth time this season.
• Graduate student Damion Lee registered his 11th double-figure scoring performance in as many games this season with Tuesday's 14-point effort.
• The eight field goal attempts for Lee rank as his second fewest of the season behind only the seven attempts against Saint Louis on Nov. 28.
• Lee connected for multiple three-point baskets for the sixth straight game and the ninth time this season after making two of his four tries Tuesday night.
• Sophomore Jaylen Johnson scored a career-high 10 points, one better than his previous best of nine points against Hartford on Nov. 17.
• The five made field goals for Johnson were also a career high, one better than his previous high of four accomplished three different times.
• Freshman Donovan Mitchell registered his fifth double-figure scoring effort of the season with Tuesday's 10-point performance.
• Sophomore Chinanu Onuaku extended his double-figure scoring stretch to five consecutive games with 10 points against UMKC.
• Onuaku equaled a season high with five blocked shots matching his total against Samford on Nov. 13.
• Freshman Deng Adel saw his first game action since Nov. 17 after recovering from a knee injury suffered in practice on Nov. 20. Adel played 11 minutes and pulled down two rebounds while not attempting a shot.
