2017 All-ACC Academic Men’s Basketball team selection, earning the recognition for the second straight year.
Primary starter at small forward for the Cardinals, scoring in double digits in 22 games.
Cards’ scoring leader over the last six games of the season, averaging 16.3 points, shooting 54 percent from the field (35-of-65), and scoring over 20 points in two of those games and at least 16 points in five of the six.
Aside from missing the Cardinals’ Feb. 6 game at Virginia for breaking curfew, Adel scored in double figures in 12 of his last 15 games, including a career-high 22 points at Wake Forest. He averaged 14.2 points over his last 15 games while shooting 47.2 percent from the field (77-of-163).
