LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After securing its second-straight win with a 20-19 decision over Wake Forest, the University of Louisville football team returns home Saturday, Nov. 7 to take on Syracuse at 12:30 p.m. The Cardinals, who have won four of its last five games, have evened their record at 4-4 and 3-2 in the ACC and are looking for their third -straight home win and third victory overall.
The Orange started the year at 3-0, but have dropped five games in a row after Saturday's 45-21 loss at Florida State. Quarterback Eric Dungey has given the offense a big lift. Defensively, the 'Cuse is a young, but talented unit that must not give up the big play.
The Cardinals own the series lead 7-6, including a 28-6 win at the Carrier Dome last.
