
Men's Golf Drops to Sixth at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational

Robin Sciot-Siegrist shoots 3-under par 69
PRINCEVILLE, Hawaii -- TheNo. 39  University of Louisville men's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. The Cardinals are at 8-under heading into the final round after shooting 283 on Tuesday.
The Cardinals shot 5-under during Tuesday's second round as conditions were good for scoring, but four teams were at least 14-under par on the day. Thirteen of 16 teams shot under par during the day, including Alabama, who took the lead after shooting 19-under par. Wake Forest is second at 24-under par and Pepperdine and UAB are tied for third at 21-under.
Sciot-Siegrist is tied for 14th place after shooting 69 on Tuesday to sit at 4-under par heading into the final round of action. J.D. Lehman was 1-under par 71 and is 2-under par for the tournament.
Patrick Frodigh moved to 30th place after his even-par round of 72, while Hugo Esposito fired 2-over par 74 to sit in a tie for 37th place. Simon Zach, who was 6-over on Monday, responded with a 1-under par 71 to move into 62nd.Â
The tournament concludes Wednesday at the Makai Golf Club. The Demon Deacons will be looking to rally for their fourth victory of the fall semester, which would set a school record.
