
Men's Golf Faces Challenging Field at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

Cards will compete at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team returns to action at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at the Blackthorn Club at The Ridges, a par-72, 7,147-yard course in Nashville, Tenn, on Oct. 9-11.
The three-day tournament gets underway Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., with each team beginning on hole No. 1. Saturday and Sunday's tee times and pairings will be released at the conclusion of the first and second rounds.
The Cardinalls will be one of 15 teams competing, joining Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, ETSU, Furman, Kent State, Missouri, Penn State, Tennessee, VCU, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, UNC Wilmington (UNCW).
Eight of the teams in the tournament are ranked in the top-65 by Golfweek. Virginia (15), Penn State (21), ETSU (29), Kent State (37), East Carolina (43), Louisville (57), Tennessee (62) and Charlotte (65) are all ranked in the top 65.
Louisville 's Robin Sciot-Siegrist, who is ranked 45th in the top-100 Golfweek rankings, is one of six individuals competing in the tournament. Virginia's Danny Walker (27) and Derek Bard (62), Penn State's Charles Huntzinger (32),East Carolina's Al Dickens (84) and ETSU's Gudmundur Kristjansson (94) are some of the top players vying for medalist honors.
Along with Sciot-Siegrist, J.D. Lehman, Simon Zach, Patrick Frodigh and Hugo Espositio will be in the lineup for the Cardinals.
