Men's Golf to Host Cardinal Invitational on Monday

Sept. 29, 2014 LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf program will host the annual Cardinal Invitational on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky.

The course is a par 72 and will play at a distance of 7,100 yards. Live scoring will be available on www.golfstat.com.

A shot-gun start is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on Monday and the teams will play 36 holes. An 18-hole shot-gun start is scheduled for Tuesday 9 a.m.

Louisville will look to win the field again after a dominating performance a year ago The 16-team field also includes: Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Cincinnati, Louisiana Monroe, Stetson, Southern Illinois, Murray State, Depaul, Austin Peay, UT Martin, U.N.O, Northern Kentucky, Dayton Western Carolina, High Point.
