LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former University of Louisville men's golfer Adam Hadwin is currently ranked No. 2 on the Web.com Money List.
Hadwin, a Cardinal from 2005-09 and a former All-American, trails current leader Carlos Ortiz by $15,736, with a total of $293,667. Hadwin has competed in 20 events this year, making the cut 15 times. He has put together a solid 69.88 stroke average and has earned eight top ten finishes on the tour.
Most recently, Hadwin earned a first place finish at the Chiquita Classic on Sept. 7, and tied for tenth at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship on Sept. 14.
Players who finish in the top 25 of the money list earn PGA Tour Cards for next season. If Hadwin can hang on to his spot in the top two, he will be fully exempt on Tour in 2014-15 and will receive an invitation to the 2015 Players Championship.
The Web.com Tour Championship, the tour's 25th and final event of the season, will tee off on Sept. 17 at the Dye's Valley course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
