Geibel Qualifies for Public Links National Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's golfer Robert Geibel qualified for the 2014 USGA Public Links national championship.

Geibel, the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year,finished second in qualifier with 68-71=139 at Jacaranda Golf Club (East course) in Plantation, Fla.

The all-conference honoree will compete at the national event on July 14-19 at the Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kan.
