Two Cardinals in Top 15 at Monroe Invitational

PITTSFORD, N.Y. - Two University of Louisville men's golfers are in the top 15 of the Monroe Invitational in Pittsford, N.Y.

Trevor Sluman and Robert Geibel have played well through the first two rounds of action. Sluman, who played in a couple of events for the Cardinals this season, is tied for second at the event, shooting 65-69=134, while Geibel is tied for 15th with 69-68=137.

Geibel, an All-Region honoree and the American Athletic Conference Freshmen of the Year, sits just three shots out of second place.

The third round will begin on Friday morning.
