
Men's Golf Announces Season-Ending Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - University of Louisville head men's golf coach Mark Crabtree has announced his end-of-the-season awards on Tuesday.
Freshman Robbie Geibel was named the Ted Schulz award winner, given to the player with the lowest stroke average. The rookie from Miami, Fla., closed the year with a 72.57 for year and was tabbed the AAC Freshman of the Year. A first team all-conference selection, Geibel also was named to the GCAA All-Region squad. He recorded four top 10 finishes with a win at the Warrior Princeville Intercollegiate last fall. He closed the year with a fourth-place finish at the AAC Championships and a 13th place finish at the NCAA Regional.
Sophomore Robin Sciot-Siegrist was named the Jim Ferriell, Jr award winner for being the most improved player. Sciot-Siegrist led team with three top five finishes. He also recorded five top 10 finishes and posted consecutive runnerup finishes at Vanderbilt Mason Rudolph and Purdue Invitationals. Posting the lowest score in six team events, Sciot-Siegrist was selected to AAC All-Conference team and to the GCAA All Region Team.
Junior Antoine LeSaux was given the Condit Dow Award for the highest grade point average. LeSaux earned a 3.8 GPA for the 2013-2014 season.He posted a season-best third-place finish at the Cardinal Intercollegiate and recorded five top 10 finishes for year.
