Field Hockey Spring Schedule Released

University of Louisville field hockey coach Justine Sowry has announced the remainder of the Cardinals 2014 spring schedule.
After opening the spring season at North Carolina April 5-6, UofL will continue spring play April 12-13 at Trager Stadium. On Saturday, April 12, the Cards will face Iowa at 11:30 a.m. and Michigan State at 5:35 p.m. Other teams in Saturday's tournament field include: Central Michigan, Indiana, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Ohio State and Ohio University.
Louisville will also hold a 7v7 tournament on Sunday which will feature two UofL squads which will face Ball State and Michigan, Central Michigan, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan State and Central Michigan throughout the day.
The Cardinals will return to Trager Stadium April 19 when they welcome their alumnae back to Trager Stadium to face the current team at 1 p.m. A cookout will follow the game. Any alums wishing to play or attend, please contact assistant coach Kirstin Gebhart at kirstin@gocards.com.
UofL will wrap up spring play on April 20 at Miami (Ohio), where they will take on the RedHawks at 11 a.m.
