
Fathauer Shoots 59 in Practice Round on the Professional Tour

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former University of Louisville men's golfer Derek Fathauer is the talk of professional golf on Tuesday as the former two-time All-American fired an incredible practice round on Tuesday in preparation for this weekend's tournament.
Fathauer, who has bounced around on both the PGA and Web.com tours, shot an incredible 12-under 59 Tuesday during a practice round for this week's Brasil Champions.
A native of Jensen Beach, Fla., carded a front-nine of 27 and closing 32 on the par-71, 6,674-yard Sao Paulo Golf Club in Brazil. He made 11 birdies, an eagle and a bogey during play.
