Hadwin Finishes Fifth on Web.com Tour

NEWBURGH, Ind. - Former Louisville men's golfer Adam Hadwin, playing on the Web.com Tour, fired a 9-under par to finish fifth at the United Leasing Championship at the Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Ind., last weekend.

Another former Cardinal golfer, Derek Fathauer shot 76-73=149 and missed the cut.

A native of Saskatchewan, Canada, Hadwin carded 70-71-67-71=279 to end the tournament two shots off the lead. The tournament continues on Monday with a four-person playoff to decide the championship.

Hadwin fired 21 birdies and one eagle to play one of his best tournaments of his career. He carded a five-under during the third-round of action on Saturday.
