Racing Cancelled in Iowa Due to Heavy Winds

SOLON, Iowa - The 17th-ranked Louisville rowing team's races scheduled for Saturday against No. 14 Wisconsin and No. 20 Minnesota on Lake MacBride were cancelled due to heavy winds and unsafe conditions.
The Cardinals were set to have crews racing in varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity four, third varsity four and novice eight events on Saturday in an event hosted by the University of Iowa.
Up next, the No. 17 Cardinals will travel to Clemson, S.C., for a challenging slate of races against numerous nationally ranked teams at the Clemson Regatta on April 20.
