Field Hockey Earns National Academic Honors

The University of Louisville Field Hockey team was named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Team Award list. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
Additionally, seven players were named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad which recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year. Elisa Garcia, Natasha Leickly, Becca Maddock, Mallory Mason, Paige Monsen, Kelsey Rosenmeier and Kendall Weedling earned the national academic honors.
