Men's Golf Finishes Second at Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate

VERONA, N.Y. - The University of Louisville men's golf team shot a 293 in the final round of the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon in Verona, N.Y. The Cardinals finished second with a two-day score of 861. Missouri won the tournament with a score of 842.
Sophomore Antoine LeSaux shot a 70 in the final round to finish second at 5-under-par 74-67-70=211 in his first tournament as a Cardinal. Missouri's Jace Long capture medalist honors with a score of 201, 15-under-par.
Freshman Robin Sciot-Siegrist and sophomore Henry Tomlinson both tied for eighth after a final round score of 75. Sciot-Siegrist finished at 68-74-75=217 while Tomlinson carded 70-72-75=217.
Freshman Gus Lundquist tied for 24th after a final round score of 73. He carded 73-77-73=223 for the tournament and improved seven spots on the leaderboard . Junior Charlie Macneal finished in 28th after a third round score of 78. He fired 76-70-78=224 for the tournament.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Sept. 14 at The McLaughlin in Farmingdale, N.Y.
