LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 17th-ranked University of Louisville football team takes on Conference USA foe Southern Miss in the Cardinals final regular-season nonconference game of the year at Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network (James Bates, Aaron Taylor, Evan Washburn), while radio coverage will be provided by the Louisville Sports Network (Paul Rogers, Joe Tronzo, Doug Ormay and Gus Allen).

Saturday's game pits two former Conference USA rivals who combined to win seven Conference USA titles. The Cardinals won three championships, while the Golden Eagles captured four. The Golden Eagles own an 18-10-1 series advantage, but the Cardinals have won the last five encounters.
Ellis Johnson is in his first year at Southern Miss, where the Golden Eagles have slumped to an 0-3 start. Johnson took over as the Golden Eagles 19th head coach after four seasons at South Carolina.
Meanwhile, Louisville coach Charlie Strong boosted his career record to 18-12 after his team's 28-21 victory over FIU last week.
