
Men's Golf Set to Host Cardinal Intercollegiate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team will host the Cardinal Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,036-yard Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky. on Sept. 24-25.
The 15-team, 84-man field will tee off with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday for two rounds before hitting the links for the final round at 8 a.m. on Tuesday with tee times from holes one and 10.
This years' field includes: Louisville, UALR, Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Francis Marion, Furman, Georgetown, Marshall, Morehead State, Murray State, Northern Kentucky and Western Kentucky. The field also includes nine individuals.
Louisville's lineup consists of Antoine LeSaux, Robin Sciot-Siegrist, Maximilian Walz, Henry Tomlinson and Gus Lundquist. Daniel Iceman, Charlie Macneal, Chris Malec and Trevor Sluman will compete as individuals.
Last year UALR fought through the cold and wet conditions in the rain-shorted Cardinal Intercollegiate. The Trojans carded a 3-under par 573 to win by eight strokes over Northern Illinois. Nicklaus Benton was the medalist at 7-under par 137.
