
Meghan Theiss Signs with Women's Golf

Louisville, Ky. - Meghan Theiss from Oldham County High School has signed a national letter of intent to play at the University of Louisville next season.
"We are excited to have Meghan join our program," said head coach Courtney Trimble. "She is an incredible student and golfer with a lot of potential. We are thrilled she chose to stay close to home and play for the Cardinals."
Theiss was named to the KHSAA All-State team in 2011. She played varsity golf for seven years and was named the team MVP the last five seasons. She finished fourth in the Kentucky State Championship this year, shooting a 75 and 77 in two round action. She also won the 2011 Seniors All-Star Championship. She won the Junior Bluegrass Championship in 2009 and 2010. She also qualified for the US Women's Amateur Public Links in 2011.
She was a member of the National Honor Society her junior and senior years. She graduated Cum Laude from Oldham County in the spring.
