
Dorward Selected to Participate in NCAA Regionals

Louisville, Ky. - - University of Louisville senior Justin Dorward was selected to play in the NCAA Regional as an individual on May 17-19 at the Olde Stone Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
Dorward is the second U of L individual to qualify for the regionals, and the first since Brett Jones qualified during the 2002 season.
Dorward is coming off a solid finish at the BIG EAST Championships last week, ending the tournament in second place after shooting 5-under par. He has posted five top-five finishes this season, including win at the USF Invitational.
"I'm extremely happy for Justin," said head coach Mark Crabtree. "Justin has had an outstanding career. He is a four-year starter and an academic All-American. This is is a great accomplishment for him."
Dorward leads the Cardinals with a solid 72.3 stroke average this season, appearing in a team-high 10 tournaments. The product of Port St. Lucie, Fla., has played six rounds in the 60s and 10 rounds under par.
For his career, Dorward owns a 73.9 stroke average in 40 tournaments and has earned 12 top 10 finishes during a stellar tenure.
