Louisville, Ky. - Head coach Charlie Strong and the University of Louisville football team will begin preparations for the 2012 season, taking part in its first spring practice on March 21.
The Cardinals also will hold practice on March 23 and March 24. The three practices will be the only scheduled practices open to the public.

Strong, who enters his third season as head coach of the Cardinals, brings back 10 starters on a defense that finished ranked 23rd in the country.
The offense returns eight starters, including four on the offensive line and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the BIG EAST's Newcomer of the Year.
Practice times have yet to be determined, but stay tuned to www.UofLsports.com as they will be announced at a later date.
