Football Finishing Off Bye Week, Set for Pittsburgh

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team opens BIG EAST play next weekend at Pitt, heading to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Oct. 13.
With the team idle this week, UofLsports.com wanted to give fans the opportunity to look back at highlights from last week's win over Southern Miss in a rain-filled contest in which the Cardinals won, 21-17. While quarterback Teddy Bridgewater only attempted 13 passes, Louisville utilized its consistent running game, as Senorise Perry and Jeremy Wright combined for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Louisville (5-0) and Pittsburgh (2-2, 0-1 BIG EAST) will match up for the 16th time in series history next Saturday. The contest, which begins at 11 a.m., will be aired on ESPNU.
