LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville rowing team will continue its spring season with a dual against Tennessee on Saturday at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The Cardinals were originally scheduled to race against Alabama and Dartmouth, but the schedule was altered with those two teams no longer participating this weekend. Racing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., ET.
"We always look forward to our annual race against the highly competitive Tennessee team," said Louisville head coach Laura Aubrey. "They are a consistent competitor and we know our limits will be tested every time we line up next to them.
"Our goal for the season is continued progress. I expect to see another great race in the varsity eight and I am anxious to see the 2V8 and V4 race because I feel they have made the biggest gains this week. Coach (Becky) Smith has done an amazing job with her novice crews and I look forward to see them get down the course as well."
Most recently, the Cardinals competed at the three-day Longhorn Invitational on March 18-20, where they earned a varsity eight win over No. 10 Wisconsin and swept four races against Kansas State.
