Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Mobile Bay

Mobile, Ala. - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished its first spring tournament of the season in 11th place at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile Ala. on Tuesday.
Middle Tennessee won the tournament by shooting a 1-under par, while the Cardinals took 11th after firing 300-301-291=891 (+25).
Karsten Clements was the Cardinals' highest finisher, tying for ninth-place overall. He shot 73-74-72=219 for the two days of the tournament. Justin Dorward tied for 28th overall after carding 77-73-72=222, while Chris Malec was tied for 53rd at 79-77-71=227. Chris Biuso was tied for 56th after shooting 79-77-71=228. Sebastian Szirmak was tied for 64th with his 74-81-75=230.
The Cardinals return to action on March 3-5 at the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
