
Clements Six Shots Off Lead at Kentucky Open

Lexington, Ky - - University of Louisville senior men's golfer Karsten Clements fired 69-73=143 after two rounds of the PowerBilt Kentucky Open played at the Lexington Country Club.
Clements raced out to the lead after the first day by firing 69 to tie for the overall lead. On Wednesday, Clements came back with his 73 to sit six shots of the lead.
Andy Roberts, a 30-year-old amateur, had eight birdies and carded a 6-under-par 66 to go with a first-day 71. His 137 total gives him a four-shot lead going into Thursday's last round.
His closest pursuers are pros Brandon Brown (71-70--141) and Patrick Vadden (69-72--141).
