Louisville, Ky. - Playing in his first PGA Tour event, former University of Louisville men's golfer Adam Hadwin is tearing up play after two rounds of the Canadian Open.
Hadwin of Abbotsford, B.C., is sending reporters hunting for background information as the little-known Canuck continues to make noise at the RBC Canadian Open.
In his first Canadian Open appearance, the Canadian Tour player posted a solid two-under 68 in his opening round.
The 22-year-old caught fire on Friday though, sinking six birdies (and two bogeys) and will make the cut at six-under-par.
Hadwin was an All-American for the Cardinals, playing from 2005-09.
