
Foley Continues to Lead Nation in Goals Per Game

For the third straight week, University of Louisville lacrosse attacker Bergan Foley leads the nation in goals per game with an average of 4.4 per game. With 12 goals last week, she climbed from seventh to fourth in the NCAA Division I in total goals (44).
Foley, a native of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., is coming off of the tenth game of her career in which she scored at least six goals, netting six during a 17-10 U of L victory over Longwood on April 4th. Foley has notched 166 goals over her prestigious career and has scored in 17 straight games to go along with 40 of her 41 career games.
Katie Oliverio moved up five spots to 12th in assists with 21 and it 13th in the nation with 2.1 assists per game. Oliverio dished out a school record for assists in a game with five against Manhattan, during the Cardinal's last home game.
Emily Dashiell is ranked eighth in the nation in draw controls per game with 4.0 per contest.
As a team, U of L is ranked third in draw controls (15.2 per game), ninth in scoring offense (14.7 per game) and 15th in scoring margin (4.4 per game). Louisville (7-3) returns home for the first of five straight home games on Friday, April 9th, when they host Loyola (8-4) at 1 p.m. at the University of Louisville Lacrosse Stadium.
