Post-college ambition: Pursue a future in sports photography and coach high school rowing
Person(s) with greatest influence in athletic career: My mom. Not only does she continually encourage me, but she also drove me to 5 a.m. practice for two years straight.
Biggest thrill in sports: Being in the last 500 meters of a race and walking through the crew you are racing
What impresses you most about your coach(es): Laura is a great motivator and a very approachable person. I always feel as though I am being listened to with unbiased ears.
What has been your biggest obstacle to overcome: The big move from Canada to Kentucky my freshman year.
Hobbies and outside interests: Photography, art, reading, sports
Pre-competition superstition: I never look at other crews in the starting gates.

Best advice you've gotten about sports: "To always listen to your gut and go with your instinct. Most times you will be right."
What people should know about you but probably don't: My mom forced me to do a learn-to-row camp in grade eight and I hated her for it but now I'm certainly thankful she did.
