GREENSBORO --- - The University of Louisville men's golf team is in 11th place after one round of the Linger Longer Invitational at Reynolds Landing.
On Friday, the Cardinals posted a team figure of 19-over-par 307. Second-ranked Oklahoma State and Furman grabbed the first-round lead at 5-over 293.
Riley Wheeldon leads the Cardinals after the first day with a 2-over par 75. He stands at a tie for 18th. Justin Dorward shot 76 and is tied for 24th. Lewis Kirton and Karsten Clements tied for 48th after shooting 5-over par 78. Chris Biuso is tied for 73rd after firing an 81.
The Linger Longer Invitational will continue on Saturday and will conclude on Sunday. Tee times and live scoring can be found at golfstat.com.
