Bergan Foley Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

University of Louisville lacrosse attacker Bergan Foley was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll this week for her seven goal performance against No. 14/15 Vanderbilt in the Cardinals' only matchup last week.
She had five first half goals and 12 shots on goal, 14 total shots and scooped up two ground balls. After offensive flurry in first half, she drew the intense scrutiny by the Vandy defense in the second half and still managed two more.
Foley is on Tewaaraton Watch List and was named to the Pre-season All-BIG EAST,
She leads the team in goals with 27, has three assists for 30 points. Foley has one game winner, is second in ground balls and has two shorthanded goals. She is ranked sixth in NCAA in goals per game, 33rd in points and 16th in the nation in points per game.
