Men's Golf Finishes in 15th Place

STATESBORO, Ga. - - The University of Louisville men's golf team fired 296-300-302=898 to finish in 15th place at the 31st Annual Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational Sunday in Statesboro, Ga. at the par-72 Forest Heights Country Club.
The 15-team field battled through winds and rain on the final day of play with Tennessee owning the day's lowest team round with a 7-under 299. Auburn overcame a seven-shot deficit to win the tournament.
At the end of play, three individuals tied for first to force a playoff. Jordan Gibb of North Florida, Jonathan Randolph of Ole Miss and Hunter Hamrick of Alabama battled for individualist honors with Randolph taking the crown launching a birdie on the first hole.
For Louisville, Riley Wheeldon tied for 15th-place overall by carding 71-74-72=217, while Chris Biuso was tied for 56th overall after shooting 74-75-76=225.
Justin Dorward was tied for 71st overall after shooting 77-75-77=229, while Aaron Sherry was tied for 74th after his 74-80-77=231.
Karsten Clements was in 80th-place after shooting 85-76-77=238.
