"We are pleased to have Eli joining the Cardinal golf program," said Crabtree. "He is a nationally recognized player for his many accomplishments the past few years in junior golf. He has taken his game to different parts of the country(winning the 2008 Hudson Jr is example) and I think that will benefit him moving forward into the collegiate atmosphere."
Crabtree added, "I really like his competitiveness and effort to be an outstanding player. I think he is a perfect fit for our program as he is an excellent student in the classroom as well. I look for Eli to step in and make a contribution in his freshman year for us."
