Football Opener to be Broadcast on WHAS TV

Louisville, Ky.- - The University of Louisville and WHAS-TV have announced that the Cardinals' 2009 season-opener versus Indiana State will be broadcast live on WHAS on Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
The broadcast team of Ari Wolfe and Doug James will once again call all the action of Louisville football telecasts. Last season, WHAS televised three games.
The Cardinals return 48 letterwinners and 15 starters from last season's 5-7 squad.
